IMPARTIALITY

While reading an article by D.T. Strain, I was moved to start this blog.  He is a Minister and writes on the Humanist Contemplative SNS.  In "Minions of Hitler" he ends by saying "...all beings crave justice and happiness. If we start with that, we should be able to figure something out." "Just some random thoughts."

Cruelty and injustice have been with us since "TIME" began -- so why, Dr. Strain, pick Hitler as any kind of starting point for a cause or consequence of what shape the world is in now?  Those who go back to the Bible for explanations of cause & effect are also not going back far enough to fully explain why human beings aren't more able to find solutions to give us a better handle on becoming  better demonstrators of "justice and happiness".  Next are some of my random thoughts that might help us jump-start the process in a new direction.

No matter how or why the universe came into existence (came to BE),  human beings are the only form of beings that can take care of our 'home';  the planet that was named Earth. The concept of GOD is as good as any to express the nature of the inexpressible, the inexplicable, the inextricable except through suicide or natural death, that which we call existence/LIFE.

The SNS blog site has suggestions for its readers to help them become more positive individuals. Here are two that impressed me the most and to which I intend to keep in the forefront of my thinking:  "LEARN HOW TO MODERATE YOUR WORDS WITHOUT SACRAFICING THE INTEGRITY OF YOUR POSITION OR CONTENT."  Second,  "BECOME THE ADVOCATE FOR YOUR ENEMY. DISARM THEIR FEARS AND CHALLENGE THEIR PRECONCEPTIONS WITH KINDNESS."

If Christ Jesus were here today, I think he would use words like these to express his stance about being one with GOD.  These are words of comfort. JESUS promised that a "comforter" would be given us in John 14:16-18: "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever; ...I will not leave you comfortless."

It is my contention that what has been sent as THE COMFORTER is and always will be our ability to use words to solve, straighten out, and enlighten the people of the world about negativity as being an  enemy that can be combatted (actively opposed) by using our power of comforting with words in our everyday speech in any and all languages. As far as I know there are over 200 languages/dialects in OUR world now. Lets make one more and maybe a contest to name it. Something like 'addicted to positivity in my choice of words'. In a sense, we can all be ministers to serve the cause of justice and happiness. Thank you Dr. Strain for those random thoughts. Bless you.
